Robert E. Sebastian is a member of the Wolf Clan of the House of Spookx of the Hagwilget Nation in northern British Columbia. Robert, born in 1952, is from the Gitxsan - Wet'suwet'en Tribes, and he now makes his home in Hazelton, B.C. His works have appeared widely throughout world collections, including the British Royal family's. Presently he works as a journalist for the Wet'suwet'en Hereditary Chiefs office. In his spare time Sebastian carves, paints and writes. His last two major pieces were a large mural for the Hazelton Totem Park, and a large yellow cedar carving. When the artist isn't working his trades he says you will find him taking part in the cultural activities of his people and out on the many rivers at Hazelton, fishing and enjoying the nature legacy left to him by the creator.
