We have now catalogued our print shop's file collection!

This important record of the history of Northwest Coast print making is available as a collection of 750 titles by 70 artists spanning more than 30 years. This collection emphasizes particularly the new wave of artists who continue to uphold their ancient artistic tradition. The striking variety of prints is a direct reflection of the vibrancy and diversity of indigenous cultures - within the context of the modern world. The collection also contains several major retrospectives of prolific senior artists who have carried on their art form over a long span of time.

This collection would be ideal for a museum looking to update their historic collection, a University in need of a study collection, or an individual who wants to own one of the largest private collections in the world. These works ought to be kept together as an important historical document and are not for sale individually.

A preview of some of the more recent works in this collection can be viewed on the gallery page of our web site. About 70% of the prints are unique printer's proof copies. Also included are numerous working sketches, originals for print runs, and proofs for many privately commissioned prints.
